Verification
Trust is a method, not a claim.
This page documents how an asset earns its status. The classifier is deterministic: the same evidence bundle always produces the same badge, and no figure on this site is authored by hand.
Evidence tiers
Paperwork
Title, tenure, concession boundaries, and permit status. Strongest tier: it defines what can legally be restored and by whom.
Operator
Field logs, sensor telemetry, planting and survival records submitted by the on-site steward on a fixed cadence.
External
Independent satellite passes and third-party audit. A single negative external reading can dispute an asset but never alone confirm it.
The method
- 01
Collect on a fixed window
Each asset declares a freshness window. Evidence captured outside that window is marked stale rather than quietly reused.
- 02
Score six signals
Canopy, hydrology, soil, habitat, tenure, and monitoring coverage are each normalised independently, with no cross-subsidy.
- 03
Let the weakest bind
The composite equals the lowest signal, not the mean. A strong canopy reading cannot offset a contested land title.
- 04
Publish the constraint
The binding signal and its remark ship with the asset, so the reader sees the failure mode before the headline figure.
